Recorded in 1983 for Canadian TV, this was a two part series that played out over two weeks of shows, both shaows are on this DVD presented commercial free. This is the only known recording of Albert and Stevie, two of the greatest musicians ever to have played the blues on electric guitar, performing together. In addition to the free-spirited musical interaction between the two, we are also treated to conversation between songs as Albert makes no secret of his admiration for Stevie’s contribution to the Blues as Stevie is overjoyed to be playing with one of his Mentors, past that, all stops are pulled in this fantastic session as both men stir each other to dig deep and give the music all they have. Truly a must have for any fan of the Blues.
